Notes: Abstract: The seasonal variation of populations of Aonidiella aurantii, Lepidosaphes beckii, and Parlatoria pergandii on leaves (60-70% on upper side) and their distribution in different parts of trees has been studied in an orange orchard; population densities reached a peak in winter and decreased drastically in spring; in summer the populations remain at their lowest level; recuperation of the populations on leaves occurs in the second and third annual generations; L. beckii and P. pergandii tend to establish themselves on the leaves of the inner part of the tree where populations are three times higher than in the exterior.
