Notes: We report the first Nebraska finding of the western trochanter mealybug, Pseudococcus dysmicus Gimpel and Miller, collected from roots of Pioneer 93M11 soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) on 4 August 2011 growing in plots near David City, NE. The soybean field in which P. dysmicus was found had been single crop no-till soybeans annually since 2002.
