Notes: The exotic encyrtid parasitoid Leptomastix dactylopii was released on a coffee estate in Karnataka, India, in 1984 and 1987 as a biological control agent against the mealybug Planococcus citri. The parasitoid established well in the field and caused 19-45% parasitism of the pseudococcid in different months in 1987 and 1988, and spread from the release sites to a large area of the estate.
