Notes: The parasitoid Leptomastix dactylopii was mass-reared and released in coffee estates in Karnataka, India, during 1984-90 for the control of Planococcus citri, P. lilacinus and P. minor. About 158,000 adult parasitoids were released on 49 coffee estates. The encyrtid was recovered from 29 estates; persistence was observed in only 19 estates where the predominant pseudococcid was P. citri. Parasitism ranged between 0 and 85%.
