Notes: The biology of Pseudaulacaspis pentagona was studied on potatoes at 25°C. The duration of one generation lasted 65-74 days, with a survival rate of 80.8%. On average, 96 eggs were produced per female, with a hatchability of 97%. In successive rearing of the insect on potato, no substantial differences were observed between the 5th and 1st generations in their duration, egg production of the adults and hatchability of the eggs.
