Notes: Species mentioned as pests of mango include Aspidiotus rossi, Chionaspis vitis, Lecanium adersi, Phenacoccus iceryoides, P. mangiferae and Pulvinaria psidii. Species on citrus include Aspidiotus ficus, A. aurantii, Icerya purchasi, Lecanium hesperidum, L. viridae, Parlatoria zizyphus, Phenacoccus iceryoides and Saissetia hemisphaericus. Aspidiotus destructor and Lecanium descrepans are found on banana. Lecanium viride, Pulvinaria psidii and Saissetia hemispherica are found on guava. Pseudococcus lilacinus is found on pomegranate. Occasionally Aspidiotus cydoniae, A. lataniae, Lecanium longulum and Pulvinaria maxima are found on grape. Aspidiotus triglandulosus, Icerya aegyptiaca and Pseudococcus corymbatus cover the foliage of figs but do not cause appreciable harm. Pseudococcus lilacinus and Phenacoccus iceryoides is found on sapodilla while Ceroplastodes cajani and Pulvinaria maxima are found on jujub. Ceroplastes floridensis occurs on cashew but is rarely a serious problem. Saissetia nigra and S. hemispherica are found on country almond. Pseudococcus sp. is found on nelli and Pseudococcus bromeliae on pineapple. Lecanium viride is found on bael (bilwa). Aspidiotus cydoniae are sometimes found on introduced stalks of apples and peaches.
