A key to the adult males of the described Ceroplastes and Waxiella male species (Ceroplastes ceriferus (Fabricius), C. cirripediformis Comstock, C. japonicus Green, Waxiella berliniae (Hall) and Waxiella sp.) is provided and their taxonomic affinities discussed.
