Notes: Programmes of integrated and biological control of the pseudococcid Planococcus citri and the diaspidid Aonidiella aurantii on Citrus in Sicily are outlined. The encyrtid parasitoid Leptomastix dactylopii and the coccinellid predator Cryptolaemus montrouzieri are mass-reared and released against P. citri. Yellow pheromone traps are used to monitor A. aurantii to establish the most suitable moment for chemical control or biological control using the aphelinid Aphytis melinus.
