Notes: Analytical studies were carried out to measure the number of progeny produced and the number of hosts destroyed by host-mutilation in the aphelinid Aphytis lingnanensis Compere, using three different species of scale insects, viz. red scale [Aonidiella aurantii (Mask.)], circular purple scale [Chrysomphalus ficus (Ashmead)], and unisexual Ivy scale [Aspidiotus hederae (Vallot)].
