Qin, H.Z., Fan, H.Y., & Tang, S.J. 1999 [Studies on the biological characters of Chloropulvinaria floccifera (Westwood).]. Journal of Shanghai Agricultural College (China). 17(3): 219-222.

Notes: Upon studying the biology of C. floccifera, results showed that it has one generation annually, and overwinters with two instar nymphs on the branches and leaves of Vibumum [Viburnum] in Shanghai, China. Its sex differentiation begins in mid-April. The eclosion peak of male imago occurs in late April, while the gestation of female imago starts between late April and early May and peaks in mid-May. Its ovipositing period occurs from early May to early June, the peak of which is from early to mid-May. Its nymphs occur from mid-May to mid-June, with an incubation peak in late May to early June.
