Notes: P. cycliger produces three generations a year on Olea europaea; oviparous and parthenogenetic; males are rare; this species does not thrive at high temperatures; first generation of P. cycliger lives on branches; second generation protects itself in bark crevices, and under Saissetia oleae or Lichtensia viburni; first instar of third generation overwinters inside waxy cocoons; associated with Crematogaster scutellaris and Anagyrus sp.
