Notes: The results of experiments indicate that as long as Chrysomphalus aonidum was dense and crowded, Aphytis holoxantus was predominant and Casca smithi scarcely noticeable. As the host population became reduced, Casca became more conspicuous, and was present in larger numbers than the previously predominant Aphytis.
