Notes: [Conference: Management Strategies for the Control of the Hibiscus Mealybug. Centeno (Trinidad and Tobago). 12 Apr 1998.] The Hibiscus Mealybug (HMB) is known to be an extremely polyphagous pest attacking over 125 plant species as recorded from India, Grenada and Trinidad. Based on the varying degrees of symptom expressions manifested by these host plants, the latter have been grouped into three distinct categories, which are discussed. The perspective of tolerance to Hibiscus Mealybug infestation by certain plants is explored.
