Notes: Lichtensia viburni, the viburnum cushion scale, was reported in 1996-97 in 2 regions of Bulgaria -- the Arcutino Nature Reserve (along the mouth of the Ropotamo) and near the village of Glozhene, around Teteven. High density colonies were found on the lower side of leaves, twigs and stems of Hedera helix. Morphological descriptions are given for males and females as well as information on biology and ecology.
