(Homoptera: Coccidae)'un populasyon dalgalanmalarina yoneylerin etkisi uzerine bir arastirma.] The effect of side of trees on population intensity of scale insect of Lepidosaphes ulmi and Palaeolecanium bituberculatum harmful on apple trees in Van province was title of this study through February 1994-January 1995. Periodically sampling were done during study on the four sides and center of determined trees. It has been concluded from statistical analysis that both scale insect species prefer the southern side of apple trees.
