Notes: [Original title: Pyrotox hatasa cserepes disznovenyeken karosito pajzstetu fajok (Pseudococcus maritimus, Saissetia coffeae, Aspidiotus nerii) larvai ellen.] The use of Pyrotox (a synergised formulation of pyrethrins) against 3 species of scale insects on ornamental plants is described from Hungary. These were Saissetia coffeae (Wlk.) on Nephrolepis exaltata and Cymbidium sp.; Aspidiotus nerii (Bch.) on Cymbidium sp.; and Pseudococcus maritimus (Ehrh.) on Howeia forsteriana. Some phytotoxicity is reported.
