Notes: Our subsequent objectives were to: (i) collect, identify, and compare volatile organic compound emissions from mechanically injured and noninjured citrus tissues; (ii) describe the behavioral response of N. viridis to volatiles from citrus with and without injury; and (iii) to evaluate volatiles associated with mechanical injury of citrus as potential attractant lures for trapping N. viridis in citrus groves.
