    • Notes: Two of the new genera and 5 of the 6 new species in the heretofore monotypic taxon Xanthophthalminae, revived subfamily. The sixth species is placed in the heretofore monotypic genus Anotaspis Ferris (subfamily Ancepaspidinae). All are morphologically unusual and most fit only uncertainly into existing higher taxa. There is a revised key to the subfamilies of Diaspididae and global keys to all the species of Xanthophthalminae and Ancepaspidinae. https://doi.org/10.1093/isd/ixaf048
