Notes: A new Palearctic species from the Coccopilatus genus has been recorded. The only species known previously, C. judithae, has been known from the Ethiopian zoogeographical province (the Kalahari desert). The description of the Coccopilatus genus is supplemented with one of C. babaevi, new sp. The host of this new species has been identified as Parapudaspis zygophylii Borchs.
