Notes: Eight species of Porphyrophora are found in South Kazakhstan. Four species are recorded for the first time: P. arnebiae (Arch.), P. sophorae (Arch.), P. nuda (Arch.), P. polonica (L.), and 3 new species are described: P. kazakhstanica sp. n., P. violaceae sp. n., P. iliensis sp. n. (The 8th species is P. epigaea). A key to the species is given.
