Notes: Abstract: The last check list of Croatian scale insects was made in 1956. On the base of species that we found by browsing the literature and using data from our own faunistic investigation (performed from 2005-2007), we present a new list of Croatian scale insects. Our list contains 132 species of scales from 71 genera, belonging to 12 families. Scales from our list are recorded off 392 host plants in 106 plant families from 379 localities.
