Notes: The authors present the identification and description and morphological characters of six speces of the wax scale Ceroplastes. This is the first record of C. utilis Cockerell, C. brachyurus Cockerell and C. rusci (Linnaeus) in peru. C. flosculoides Matile-Ferrero & Couturier is a newly described species based on Peruvian material. C. floridensis Comstock and C. cirripediformis Comstock have previousl been mentioned in the literature of the country. A key for their identification is included.
