Notes: The pseudococcid Planococcus citri is a serious pest of Citrus in Karnataka, India, and insecticides do not provide effective control. The exotic parasitoid Leptomastix dactylopii is recommended as a biological control agent. Release of the parasitoid at a rate of 5000-7000 adults/ha gives complete control of P. citri within 3-4 months.
