  • Notes: Data indicate the sustained airborne recruitment of the first instars of Toumeyella parvicornis into the pine forests and that isolation of healthy trees does not prevent the risk of infestation. The factors that are likely to have facilitated the rapid spread of the scale insect across the Turks and Caicos Islands are discussed.
