Notes: Notes are provided on the biology, injuriousness and control of pests and diseases of pines (Pinus) in the Loire-Atlantique province of western France. Three pests (including the margarodid Matsucoccus feytaudi and the pine processionary caterpillar Thaumetopoea pityocampa) are discussed with in some detail, the other pests and diseases are more briefly mentioned.
