Lu, C.H., & Wu, D.H. 1988 [A preliminary study on bionomics of Parlatoria yanyuanensis and its control.]. China Fruits No. 3, 17-19.

Notes: Parlatoria yanyuanensis is a newly found pest of fruit trees in southwestern China. It severely damaged apple trees in the Kunming region, Yunnan Province. There was 1 generation each year. The overwintered female adults laid eggs from late February to late July, and nymphs were found from late March to late August. Female adults were present from late August to the middle of the following August. Spraying 25% quinalphos (1:800-1000) or 40% (1:1500) 2-3 times during the nymphal period achieved >96% control.
