Lotfalizadeh, H. 2000a Lacewings parasitoids (Neu.: Chrysopidae) in Shiraz.. Journal of Entomological Society of Iran 19(1/2): 31-44.
Notes: Six parasitoids of Chrysopidae belong to two families Encyrtidae and Pteromalidae, have been collected and identified in Shiraz, Iran during 1998. These parasitoids were reared on Chrysoperla carnea and Suarius fedtschenkoi, which in turn prey on cypress tree mealybug, Planococcus vovae. Morphology of antennae, wing and other major criteria were used for identification. A simple key is provided to assist identification of these parasitoids. Taxonomy and diagnosis is hereby discussed. Among the pteromalids Catolaccus crassiceps and among the encyrtids Cheiloneurus ceroplastis and Isodromus atriventris are new records for fauna of Iran and Isodromus collimaculatus is new record for world fauna.
