  • Notes: Here, we generated a chromosome-level genome assembly of cotton mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis, by combining Illumina short reads. Our results provide a valuable genomic resource and shed new light on the genomic and epigenetic basis of paternal genome elimination in cotton mealybugs.
