  • Notes: A deeper understanding of the reproductive biology of P. ficus is required in order to evaluate the influence of mating disruption on its populations. Laboratory and field experiments were thus carried out to investigate the effects of increasing delays in mating on reproductive and demographic parameters of P. ficus. The present study illustrates the reproductive traits of P. ficus females mated at increasing ages and indicates the influence of delayed mating on the population growth potential of this pest. https://doi.org/10.1017/S000748531700075X
