Notes: The biology of Chrysopa lacciperda, a predator of the pseudococcid Planococcus citri, was studied in the laboratory at 26 deg C and 60-75% RH. Development from egg to adult took 22.52 days with 10 to 15- day-old nymphs of P. citri and 21.27 days with eggs of the pyralid Corcyra cephalonica. First-, 2nd- and 3rd-instar larvae of Chrysopa lacciperda consumed an average of 35.0, 96.0 and 636.1 nymphs of P. citri, resp.
