  • Notes: Previous studies have shown that C. carnea has the ability to develop high levels of resistance to multiple insecticides. Therefore, it was planned to select C. carnea larvae with chlorantraniliprole and bifenthrin to develop insecticides resistant strains of C. carnea under controlled conditions. Moreover, to evaluate the costs of resistance authors screened life-history and fitness parameters of the selected strains of C. carnea after rearing on P. solenopsis. Similar studies have not been previously reported. Knowledge gained from this study will be helpful in the development of integrated pest management strategies against P. solenopsis.
