Notes: The solenopsis mealybug,Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera:Pseudococcidae) was recorded for the firsttime in Haryana, India during 2006. Since then it has been regularly appearing on cotton, causing severe damage to the crop in certain pockets.
