Notes: Four species of the genus Formosaspis have been recorded from China up to now. They are F. formosana from Taiwan; F. nigra from Hong kong; F. stegana from Yunnan; and F. wanglangensis from Sichuan. Their hosts are bamboos. A new species collected on bamboo (F. guilinensis sp. nov.) is described.
