Huang, Q.Q., & Zhang, H. 1990 [Control effects of machine oil emulsion on scale insects and mites on Citrus].. Fujian Agricultural Science and Technology No. 5, 9-10.
Notes: In field trials in Fujian, China, machine oil emulsions at dilutions 1:30-1:100 produced 89.0-94.6% control of larvae of the diaspidid Prontapis yanonensis [Unaspis yanonensis] and 77.8-87.6% control of adults. All concentrations gave effective control of the tetranychid Panonychus citri and the eriophyid Aculus pelakassi [Aculops pelekassi]. Mixtures with low concentration of Bayer 93820 [1 methylethyl 2-[(aminomethoxyphosphinothioyl)oxy] benzoate] or omethoate were more effective with greater residual action time.
