Notes: The micro-emulsion of 30% Qiang-li-sha-jie (Force kill jie) was used for the control of D. koreanus in plum orchards in China. The solution diluted by 800 or 1200 times showed a control efficacy of more than 94.5% at 7 days after the use of the insecticide, exhibiting a high knock-down rate. After 14 days, the control efficacy was still more than 99%. The control efficacy of solutions diluted by 600, 800 and 1200 times did not significantly vary. Compared with 25% Jie-si-jing EC and 40% supracide EC, 30% Qiang-li-sha-jie was a good choice for the control of D. koreanus because of its rapid killing effect, long-duration control efficacy, greater safety and lower cost.
