Notes: A new species of the encyrtid genus Aenasius, A. bambawalei is described. This parasitoid has been reared from Phenacoccus solenopsis, a mealybug that has invaded India and spread to all the cotton-growing areas in India. One of the species identified from Phenacoccus solenopsis is an aphelinid, Promuscidea unfasciativentris Girault (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae). This species is a hyperparasitoid on the encyrtid (Hayat, 1998).
