Notes: Pseudococcus comstocki (Hemiptera, Pseudococcidae) has been detected in France since 2005 and is now considered as an emergent pest in apple orchards. In the context of biological control programs, INRA is currently leading a study of its geographical distribution in France. Large-scale field surveys have been carried out with the help of French practitioners. This article summarizes all the results obtained so far and proposes a first detailed distribution map of P. comstocki distribution in France.
