Graora, D. 1997 Proucavanje Lepidosaphes ulmi L. (Homoptera: Diaspididae) na jabuci u Srbiji. [Studies on Lepidosaphes ulmi L. (Homoptera: Diaspididae) on apple in Serbia.].. Zastita Bilja. Beograd 48: 2, 127-137.

Notes: L. ulmi was monitored at 17 localities in Serbia, Yugoslavia, in 1991-92. It had two generations a year, and its biology is described. Temperature, relative humidity and rainfall were found to affect the duration of development stages and generations. Regular insecticide applications were effective for its control. Of the five cultivars observed, Golden Delicious was most intensively attacked, followed by Melrose and Jonathan.
