  • Notes: The silver fly species, Leucopina bivittata (Malloch, 1940) (Diptera: Chamaemyiidae), is newly recorded for Baja California Norte, Mexico, attacking the vine mealybug, P. ficus. This represents the first time any species of Leucopina Malloch, 1927 has been found to attack any species of Planoccocus Ferris, 1950. Prior to this, the only chamaemyiid genus with species known to attack Planococcus was Leucopomyia Malloch, 1921 (Gaimari 2010, 2021).
