Notes: The symptoms and distribution of virus diseases of taro and other edible Araceae in the southwest Pacific are reported. Dasheen mosaic virus is the most common of the viruses that occurred in many areas. Two bacilliform particles were also found, one of which was transmitted by Planococcus citri and Pseudococcus longispinus.
