Notes: In 2009 the boreo-montane species, Diaspidiotus bavaricus (Lindinger) was found in Denmark on Calluna vulgaris and Empetrum nigrum. This is the first finding of the species on E. nigrum. Notes on biology, host plants, life cycle and distribution in Europe are given.
