  • Notes: Semiochemicals are often used as cues by parasitoids, in the process of host selection for each of the sequential steps, habitat location, host location, host recognition, and host acceptance. Therefore, semiochemicals may be applied as a tool in biological control by manipulating the spread and distribution of parasitoids aiming at intesifing their recruitment and retention within the crop.
