Notes: Lepidosaphes beckii and Chrysomphalus aonidum populations increase after spraying with copper, zinc, or lime on citrus orchards, or after accumulation of road dust or fertilizer. This experiment indicates that wettable sulfur is more desirable for the control of rust mites (Phyllocoptruta oleivora) and the continued control of L. beckii than lime-sulfur or sulfur paste.
