Notes: A rapid, inexpensive and safe method was developed to assess the relative efficacy of pesticides against established populations of Hemberlesia rapax on ACtinidia chinensis var. chinensis). The technique was inappropriate for leaves and wood. Field trials and past experience confirmed the efficacy rankings of insecticides in the laboratory and indicated the reliability of the method.
