Notes: Given the substantial economic impact of D. opuntiae in Morocco and globally, this study aims to assess and compare the virulence and pathogenicity of three isolates of entomopathogenic fungi (Alternaria murispora EL01SB, Alternaria destruens EL04SB, and Macrophomina tecta EL03SB) against both D. opuntiae adult females and nymphs in laboratory and field settings, and to discover their mechanism of action against adult females under laboratory conditions.
