Notes: During a recent outbreak of the juniper scale, Carulaspis visci in Bermuda, a method was devised to mass-rear certain introduced predators under laboratory conditions. Pseudaulacaspis pentagona, a native insect, was able to be cultured on Solanum tuberosum and coccinellids fed readily on both the mature and developing scales.
