Notes: This study reports an encyrtid parasitoid, Tachardiaephagus tachardiae (Howard, 1896) as natural enemy of the invasive lac insect. Annona squamosa and Peltophorum pterocarpum are reported as new host plants for this pest with its geographical extension in Andhra Pradesh.
