Doutt, R.L. 1952a Biological control of Planococcus citri on commercial greenhouse Stephanotis.. Journal of Economic Entomology 45: 343-344.
Notes: Biological control can be used very effectively in the control of mealybugs on commercially grown Stephanotis. The near eradication of the host followed by the disappearance of its natural enemies would seem to require an annual colonization of natural enemies in each greenhouse. The method is placed on a sound practical basis by the degree of control obtained at a low cost and without injury to the plants.
