Notes: In recent years, the white peach scale has repeatedly caused serious damage in peach orchards in southeastern France. The development of infestations was monitored over a period of three years to improve the use of insecticides. Poor results following the application of registered insecticides prompted us to test other mechanical and biological methods such as the cleaning of the trees with high-pressure water and the action of local or exotic natural enemies.
