Cravedi, P., & Molinari, F. 1995 [Insect pheromones in the protection of peaches.] Feromoni degli insetti nella protezione dei pescheti.. Informatore Agrario 51: 8, 115-121.
Notes: Notes are given on the use of pheromone traps within integrated pest control programmes in peach orchards in Italy. Pheromone traps are used for monitoring pest populations to evaluate the risk of damage to the crop and to indicate the need and timing for direct intervention, and indirect control by mating disruption. The pests discussed include the tortricid Cydia molesta, the gelechiid Anarsia lineatella, other species of Lepidoptera, and the diaspidids Pseudaulacaspis pentagona and Quadraspidiotus perniciosus. The trap types available commercially in Italy are described.
